B18 Coffee Kitchen

B18 is just as delicious as their partner restaurant (Beechwood Cafe) in a less crowded environment. The grilled chicken sandwich here is incredibly delicious, and you can adjust the bread if you’d like. The coffee is presented very well and is very tasty. Glad to have B18 in Paulhus Hook .

Tl;dr, the food really slaps but the coffee is kind of mid. This place is kind of a hit or miss. The brunch is really good, but their matcha latte is very watery. Their burgers were good, but the Cajun salad I got had overcooked chicken and was drenched in a very sweet dressing. Their bulgogi rice bowl is definitely interesting, but the cheese on top kinda threw me off.

Can't say enough about how delicious and fresh the food is and how warm and welcoming the service was! A must if you are in the City. Check them out. They are by the harbour where you can catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Stopped in for breakfast and went back for lunch!!! We had eggs Benedict / breakfast burrito / PLT for breakfast and for lunch Korean wings, Loren Steak sandwich and Ramen...plus the cupcakes, cheese and variety of coffee teas and Bobo!!

Tried out this place a few months back based on a friend’s recommendation and I must say, it was pretty good for a coffee shop. They had been ordering coffee and a few sandwiches from here pretty regularly so I had to try this place when I visited them. We had a takeout order from this place for a couple of coffees and some sandwiches. The coffee was fantastic. I had mocha latte. For breakfast, I gave ham and cheese croissant a shot and my friends had ordered avocado toast and a chicken wrap. The food was amazing, albeit, on the expensive side. Everything tasted great and fresh, was cooked properly and wasn’t soggy or anything, which you typically expect from a coffee shop, unfortunately. It was refreshing to try out this place and experience such amazing food and coffee.

B18 should be the first consideration for anyone in the Jersey City area, this coffeeshop is superb, offering incredibly delicious meals with your favorite cup of coffee. The space is perfect for work, meeting up with friends or simply to get away from an everyday surrounding and catch up on a book. B18 is near the Marine Boulevard Lightrail station so be sure to pay them a visit.

first time here, I’ve seen it on my way back from work so I decided, “lets see what it’s like inside.” I checked it out online firsthand before entering and noticed they served not only hot beverages but also breakfast. When you first go in, there is a cute menu that has the drinks but going closer to the register, there’s also the breakfast menu! Service was nice and food was very filling. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill spot for early mornings.
